DEN has been granted an All India ISP (Internet Service Provider) License to provide internet services across the country. Field trials are being conducted in two cities, and the services will be rolled out in the next few months in a phased manner. The USP of DEN Broadband Internet Services would be:
Capability to deliver high speed internet with symmetric speed of up to 8~10 mbps This is made possible by using a combination of GePON and "Ethernet over Coax" (EOC) technology delivered into the home over the existing last mile coax wire.
Capability to offer latest products like IPTV and VoIP
IPTV enables the customer to be in control of what he watches and when he watches. Subscriber can play, pause, rewind or record an ongoing TV program and view it as per his convenience.
VoIP is a Digital phone service that provides very economical domestic and international calling. Other features include voice mail, caller ID and call waiting.
Leveraging our existing presence among subscribers through coaxial cable
Since the internet service is delivered over existing cable TV wire, all subscribers availing DEN's Cable TV Distribution are a ready market for rolling out DEN's broadband internet services. The subscriber would have the convenience of multiple services to use but a single bill to pay.
